Oregon Jamboree to Host Final Music Festival in 2025

As we prepare for the 2025 Oregon Jamboree and an exciting lineup of artists and country music, we wanted to share some important news about the future of the festival. The 2025 Oregon Jamboree will be the 34th and final year of the music festival.

As one of the last remaining nonprofit country music festivals, we are deeply proud of the positive contributions the festival has had on Sweet Home, Linn County, the surrounding areas, and the state of Oregon for so many decades and the memories we have helped create for festival attendees over the years.

Founded in 1992 as an economic development project for Sweet Home, the festival was created to support a rural community that had seen significant layoffs and mill closures. For the last 34 years, the festival has been proud to support and fulfill that mission of rural economic development and giving back to our community, including generating millions in economic activity.

Even with widespread community support and volunteers, the changing and increasing economic realities of running a music festival unfortunately no longer serve our mission to support rural economic development in the Willamette Valley.

To our incredible volunteers, sponsors, community partners, artists and staff, thank you for your dedication to this event and to our community for so many years. You are the ones who made the Oregon Jamboree special for three and a half decades, and you are the ones who will keep its memory alive for years to come.

For more information about what this means for 2026, including information on 2026 ticket refunds, please visit www.OregonJamboree.com/closureFAQs.

We will see you at Sweet Home in August for one final celebration and country music festival, August 1-3, 2025! Let’s make it the biggest and best celebration ever.

The 2025 festival is continuing as planned. Tickets and camping are still available for purchase for those who would like to join us in Sweet Home in August for one final celebration of the Oregon Jamboree.

If you have already purchased tickets for 2026, your purchase will automatically be refunded to your credit card on July 9th. You will also receive a call from an Oregon Jamboree team member to confirm the refund. If you have any issues with your refund, please contact Questions@OregonJamboree.com.

Even with widespread community support and volunteers, the economic realities of running a music festival no longer serve our mission to support rural economic development in the Willamette Valley.

While we are looking forward to a successful and celebratory 2025 festival, our Board of Directors recognizes that running a festival of this size and scope is no longer financially feasible for our nonprofit organization, regardless of the outcome of this year’s event. We wanted to have the opportunity to share in this celebration of 34 years of the Oregon Jamboree at this year’s festival with all of our patrons and community.

We are still determining what will happen with other events run by SHEDG, including Tune It Up Tuesday. We will provide updates here when we know more.
