Oregon Jamboree 2025 Kick-Off Party Moves to Sankey Park with All-Star Local Lineup

The Oregon Jamboree is turning up the volume before the main stage lights even come on for the 34th and final year of the historic festival.

The Oregon Jamboree is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Kickoff Party – a free community celebration that brings together fans, families, and volunteers for a night of music, memories, and hometown pride – will be steeped with local All-Star Talent. Traditionally held on 18th Street as a street party, this year marks an exciting new chapter as the Kick-Off Party moves to the beautiful, shaded Sankey Park in the heart of Sweet Home.

That’s right! Cooler temperatures, food and beverage vendors, and room to dance under the trees. Whether you’re a local, a weekend-long camper, or a first-timer ready to beat the Friday rush, this is your invitation to start the weekend early with a stellar lineup of Oregon-grown talent.

Meet Your Hosts

Country artist Jessie G, a longtime Oregon Jamboree favorite with powerhouse vocals and deep coastal Oregon roots, will co-emcee the evening alongside Oregon’s go-to concert emcee Mekela Rae. Jessie will also lend her voice to kick off the night with a stirring performance of the National Anthem – a moment you won’t want to miss as she’s sang the National Anthem for Green Bay Packer lfootball games throughout the year!

🌟 The Lineup

6:00 PM – Jacquie Roar
She’s bold. She’s fierce. She’s Oregon proud. And she’s coming to light up Sankey Park.
Jacquie Roar, a finalist on NBC’s The Voice, has shared the stage with legends like Alanis Morissette, Reba McEntire, and Martina McBride. Known for her powerhouse vocals and rock-meets-country energy, Jacquie brings national talent with a hometown soul. If you’ve seen her live, you know you’re in for a show. If you haven’t – get ready to be blown away.

7:30 PM – Jeff Miller and the Congregation
Formerly known as Toast & Jam, this group is no stranger to the Oregon Jamboree stage. In fact, they were the very first winners of the Oregon Jamboree Battle of the Bands. Now performing as Jeff Miller and the Congregation, this band brings rootsy, feel-good country rock with soul-stirring harmonies, and their return to the kickoff stage is a full-circle celebration of community and music.

9:00 PM – Kurt Van Meter
Country artist Kurt Van Meter will close out the night with his signature blend of high-energy hits and heartfelt storytelling. A Jamboree fan favorite, Kurt has opened for the likes of Brad Paisley and Eric Church and continues to represent Oregon country music on stages across the nation. Don’t be surprised if the dance floor fills up fast and the sing-alongs carry into the night.

A Party with Purpose

The Kickoff Party is more than just a concert—it’s our way of giving back to the community that makes the Oregon Jamboree possible. From volunteers and vendors to loyal fans who show up early to camp, this event is a celebration of all the people who bring this festival to life.

Whether you’re a die-hard country fan or just looking for a fun night in the park, admission is free and all are welcome. Bring your blanket, grab some food from local vendors, and join us for a night that celebrates music, community, and Oregon pride.
