Shane Smith & The Saints Rally for Texas Flood Relief

As headliners for Saturday, August 2 at the Oregon Jamboree, Shane Smith & The Saints are more than just powerful voices in country music—they’re proud Texans with deep roots in the Hill Country. And right now, their home is hurting.

In the wake of the devastating floods that struck Texas over the 4th of July, the band has shared a heartfelt message of grief, love, and solidarity with their fellow Texans. “As Texans, we weep for our state. As a community, we grieve the losses. And as parents, our hearts break for the unimaginable,” they wrote.

But even amidst heartbreak, Shane Smith & The Saints are helping drive action. They’ve spotlighted a group of their friends and partners stepping up in extraordinary ways to bring relief to those affected:

  • Millscale Metalworks has mobilized a field kitchen to the Kerrville Folk Festival ranch, providing hot meals to first responders, displaced families, and rescue crews. They’re seeking a second wave of chefs and pitmasters to help. Email: info@millscale.co
Victims and responders needing support can call: (830) 331-0428
  • Luck Reunion is coordinating with 30+ Central Texas businesses for organized relief efforts. Volunteer shifts available at:

  • Sendero Provisions Co. launched a Together for Texas collection, donating 100% of profits to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Shop the collection:

As Shane and the band remind us, every share, every volunteer hour, and every dollar makes a difference. Let’s stand together for Texas—because music brings us joy, but community brings us strength.
